Yesterday, I recieved a copy of Robey's CD "One Night In Bangkok". Robey (Full name: Louise Robey) was this babelicious 80s singer/actress (she was on "Friday The 13th: The Series" and had a small role in "The Money Pit" singing alongside White Lion), and her biggest hit was a cover version of the "Chess" song "One Night In Bangkok". Interestingly, her version came out around the same time that Murray Head's did.

I've listened to both versions, and I feel that Robey blasts Head out of the water with her take on the song. She's reminsicent of Samantha Fox with the semi-****ney accent, so that's cool. Also, the dance beat is more defined and cascading, so I like that.

Anyway, I know the song isn't that popular on here due to overplay, but if you had to pick one version of "One Night In Bangkok", would it be Robey's version or Murray Head's version?

Sincerely,
