It was on all day, all the videos MTV played their first day on air. I caught bits and pieces of it. Did anyone else get the chance to check it out?

I didn't see any Prince but saw a boatload of Rod Stewart.

Mouse, I don't know how to break this to you, but on August 1st,1981 Prince wasn't on the music map for MTV really.

I doubt there would have been any Prince on the first day given MTV's imfamous color line at launch.

Glad ya'll said that about Prince. I was going to say something to that effect, but given that I was only 4 years old in '81, I wanted to check my facts first!!!
