After Prince's awesome Idol performance, I was inspired to pick up his new cd this week. What a pleasant surprise indeed, it is pack with tunes that turn your rose colored sunglasses oh so Purple. Not since the 80's has Prince had a collection of song that I enjoyed so much.

My favorite is track 8 "Fury" with the Idol performance track 2 "Lolita" close behind.

Does anyone else beside The Mouse Avenger..ha [Wink] ...have this cd?

As soon as I heard it on American Idol, I was like WHOA!! What's this?? It does sound like it is from the 80's, the music and everything. I like how he kind of talks in it...it sounds a little Raspberry Beretish.

I like the songs "Black Sweat" and "Love." I just wish Mayte was still performing with him. She was an incredible dancer and really made his songs come alive on stage!
