Genndy Tartakovsky, the man behind the excellent animated series SAMURAI JACK and STAR WARS: CLONE WARS has been hired to direct the sequel to THE DARK CRYSTAL. seemingly the film will be a combination of Puppets, Green Screen techniques a la SIN CITY and (worryingly?) CGI. well, I reckon Tartakovsky is a strange choice but it'll be interesting.
