I am dedicating this to everyone going back to school...

Since school started again....I feel like watching "Class"-I love that movie.

I remember when I loved to go school clothes shopping.

I never saw this album cover of Josie Cotton...she looks really pretty in that picture. Does anyone know what happened to her??

I loved all the songs she sang in Valley Girl.

My favorite is:

Josie's music is fun, I have Convertable Music and From the Hip on vinyl. Josie was in a 1986 horror movie w/ Pierce Brosnan and Adam Ant that I have been trying to get my hands on for a while.

As for now, she's still involved with music, I think she has her own indie label B-girl records and has sporadically released records in the 90's and 2000's which I don't have. I think the most recent thing she did was an album of B-movie theme songs.

Josie Cotton is still going strong out in LA. Check out her song "Creeps" which sounds like it would be great Halloween party music.

Would love the original 1961 song School is In by Gary US Bonds.
