apart from the songs during the tournament, i loved this classick song by banarama..why didnt it feature on it!

I heard they did not feature that song on the OST, along with two thers because of the cost to purchase the rights. Remember, The Karate Kid was filmed on a somewhat small budget, so just having those songs in the movie were expensive enough.

Also, if anyone knows how to get ahold of a song called "the ride" by The Matches, that was featured in the film please let me know, I can't seem to find it!
