Dick Cusack's appearance in "My Bodyguard" was not only his first movie in a 20-year acting career marked mostly by bit parts in Chicago-based films ("The Fugitive," "Chain Reaction," and "High Fidelity," among others), but it was the first film where he appeared alongside his daughter Joan. In 2000, he appeared for the last time with daughter Joan and son John Cusack on screen in "High Fidelity" as he would later succumb to cancer on June 2, 2003 in Evanston, Illinois.Thanks to Kim
