Jerry Lee was an actual Kansas City police dog. He was shot and killed on 18th November 1991, apprehending a suspect in the attempted murder of a police officer. Ten days before his death, he found ten kilos of cocaine worth more than 1.2 million dollars.

There have been two further K9 movies both starring James Belushi and his German Shephard friend. K911 and K9: PI. Both are surprisingly good (if you liked the first one).



Bogus Trivia

There's often fake stuff floating round, y'know? -Like the 'ghost boy' that can allegedly be seen in "Three Men And A Baby".
