Adrienne Barbeau, who played the loud-mouth wife of Hal Holbrook in the fourth episode "The Crate", was married to John Carpenter 1979-1984 and can be seen in his films "The Fog" (1980 -- Also with Holbrook, "Escape from New York" (1981) and in his tv-thriller "Someones watching me" (1979, aka "Highrise")

The second vignette, "The Lonesome Death of Jordy Verrill", was based on a Stephen King short story entitled, "Weeds". As you'll also probably know, this segment even starred King in the central role of Jordy.

Creepshow marks the last time that Leslie Nielson was able to play a big screen heavy. Of course, following Creepshow, he went on to become the physical embodiment of 80's slapstick in the Airplane sequel and Naked Gun movies.

Tom Atkins appears uncredited at both the start as well as the conclusion of the film as Stan Haynes, Billy's tyrannical father.

Gaylen Ross, who played Leslie Nielsen's wife that was having an affair with Ted Dansen in "something to tide you over"...She was also one of the stars of the Romero classic "Dawn of the Dead".

George Romero's wife, Christine Forrest, has a cameo in "The Crate". She's at a party and says that her name is Tabitha, which is the name of Stephen King's wife.
Cletus Anderson, who worked on the film as Production Designer and Scenic Special Effects, appears in the fourth segment "The Crate" as a Host.
