Troll Filming Locations:
The movie was mainly shot at the Empire Studios, Rome, Italy - which, in a previous incarnation, was in fact the famous Cinecitta studios owned by Dino De Laurentis in the sixties: the same studio where films such as 'Barbarella' would have been shot.
The apartment block set itself was re-used the same year for a low-budget chiller called 'Crawlspace', starring Klaus Kinski and Talia Balsam (the ex-Mrs. George Clooney). [Thanks to David Bumpstead]
