Night of the Comet Filming Locations:
The theater Regina works at, the "El Rey", is located at 5515 Wilshire Blvd in Los Angeles. It was also the nightclub that Les took Mercedes to in "License to Drive." [Thanks to Daniel Zubiate]
Near the beginning of the film when Reggie flees downtown L.A. on her boyfriend's motorcycle, she comes to a stop beside a brown Mercedes 300D. The street is Grand Avenue, and the location is about 100 yards south of the Dorothy Chandler, looking south. This shot, along with most others, was shot during the middle of a normal business day. BTW -- The Mercedes belonged to me, the writer/director. [Thanks to writer/director THOM EBERHARDT!]
