Linklater: Great director, always on the cutting edge of independent cinema; I eagely await the long overdue Richard Linklater DVD collecter’s set

1. ‘Tape’
2. ‘Dazed & Confused’
3. ‘Waking Life’
4. ‘Before Sunrise’
5. ‘Slacker’

My favorite movie in Dazed and another I want to upgrade to DVD being released together is an extra Holiday for me in 2004

I lived the 'Dazed' era but I was too much the suburban disco queen to understand those hard-drinking pot-heads. I didn't know any girls that regularly got high, so the girls in this movie would have been looked down upon by my circle of catholic school girl disco friends.

The movie absolutely makes me laff on many levels though.

The soundtrack is phenomenal.

Is it a special edition DVD, because I have one already on DVd. The soundtrack is awesome for it. I haven't seen any other of his films. I have heard a little about Slacker and Before Sunrise, didn't he also just do Before Sunset? I might have to check those out. Also an outstanding cast of unknowns at the time. It brought us Ben Affleck, Cole Hauser, Renee Zellweger, Joey Lauren Adams, Jeremy London, and Matthew McConohaughy, and Parker Posey.
