I am curious to check out some more 80's beach, summer, party movies. Before I purchase, do you guys know any of these? What do you think? Which ones should I get? Which ones should I stay away from. Also, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hardbodies with Scotty Palmer is a classic. Back To The Beach is probably the best movie on your list. Gimme An F has cool cheerleading routines, but the acting is weak. Private Resort has Johnny Depp in a cheesy comedy. Summer Job is a notch behind Private Resort. Party Camp wants to be Meatballs, but it's not.

Hardbodies is cool. Check out Fraternity Vacation. It's available on DVD by Anchor Bay. Tim Robbins stars in it. Seeing Tim Robbins in it is like watching Tom Hanks in Bosom Buddies. Saying that, I don't mean Tim wears a dress. It's just funny watching the early work of actors who now play serious roles.

I'll second what Richie says about the movie "Spring Break". There were several movies made in the 80's about Spring Break, but this movie was by far the best.

I hate SPRING BREAK and SCREWBALLS....but then agin. I'm a woman. Johnny Depp naked in a hallway. I'm not a smoker.....have'nt seen the movie in ten years ..............and still wanna scream "Giddyup!" (NORTHERN EXPOSURES Rob Morrow is also lookin fine in PRIVATE RESORT so................)

Devo, I actually sw the Spring Break soundttrack on vinyl, but I didn't get it in tim e before the owner closed his store for good. Are you talking about the actual songs on the soundtrack, or extra ones not included on it?
