Just superb.

Are you sure this is an 80s song? [Wink] [Wink]

It's an 80's song in spirit.

I don't hear any 80s spirit in it...It sounds more like a Nirvana or Soundgarden song (Yes, I know both of these groups released albums in the 80s, but they didn't have an 80s sound). [Wink]

I say that this thread should be moved to the Rewind Social Club section if songs by Denis Leary and Tenacious D are being bought up in what supposedly is an *EIGHTIES* music forum. [Wink]

Sincerely,

John Kilduff

JB and KG are definitely not inspired by Nirvana and Soundgarden. Tribute sounds more like freaking Led Zeppelin (especially if you have the HBO version where they 'tribute' Stairway) than something Cornell or Cobain would come up with.

I know this is in the 80's forum, but i thought we were just talking 'comedy' songs in general.
As an added fact,I heard that Jack Black has stated his music is influenced a little by 80's rock bands.
And the video is definately something that could have been made 20 years ago-ish.
