Trivia, fun facts and more for the 1989 Sci-Fi movie starring Cheryl Ladd, Kris Kristofferson, Daniel J. Travanti et al.
An air traffic controller in the film was played by Scott Thompson, a future Kid in the Hall comedian.
Michael Anderson was sixty-nine years old when he directed this film.
Anderson also directed a film in 1949 entitled "Shake Hands with the Devil," which was later the title of a 1979 album recorded by Kris Kristofferson!

The book is very hard to follow, but definitely worth a read and has a few more interesting items in it that weren't in the movie.
