The video store where Bronson confronts some of the goons shows a number of posters and displays promoting such other Cannon releases as "Fields of Honor", "The Naked Face", and "Texas Chainsaw Massacre II". A movie theatre in the film shows a curious pairing: "Othello" and "Runaway Train". Probably not so strange as they, like Death Wish IV, were also Cannon releases.

John P. Ryan, who plays the lead villian Nathan (the dude that gets rocket launched from point blank range at the end of the movie), also played Mr. O'Rourke, the principal who gets knocked senseless on "3 O' Clock High". "Dont f*** this up Mitchell."

Soon Teck Oh a.k.a. Detective Phil Nozaki also plays Colonel Yin opposite Chuck Norris in Missing in Action 2. " See what happens when you disobey my command."
