Opinion

This a a great score by Rick Wakeman who was keyboard player with the band Yes. Rick wrote some other horror scores in the 80's including the music for "The Burning".

Les Reed wrote some great additional music for the soundtrack. Reed wrote the Tom Jones song "It's not unusual" in the 60's and many others for artists like Engelbert Humperdink.

Although we previously believed that Rick Wakeman's score was released on Vinyl LP on the Varese Sarabande label in 1987, Paul kindly wrote in to say that "This information about the score is false. I checked with Varese Sarabande at their website www.varessarabande.com and they informed me that they never released it. Les Reed's website www.chapteronerecords.com also confirmed that Laurel Productions never issused a soundtrack on either CD or LP."

Thankfully, it has now been released for us to enjoy.Update Us
