During the scene when the Ghost Of Christmas Present (Carol Kane) grabs Bill Murray's lip, she literally pulled it so hard that she tore his lip badly and filming had to be halted for a few days while it healed! (in fact, if you look VERY closely at his lip during the scene, you may even notice a speck of blood forming...)
