Go behind the scenes and learn what went on during the making of the 1988 Action / Adventure movie starring Matt Dillon, Andrew McCarthy, Leslie Hope et al.
By the completion of the film, over 2000 Kansans were used as extras, mostly from around Lawrence, County Douglas, the principal filming location. In addition, of the 60 speaking parts, about a quarter are filled by local actors.

I drove the combine in the movie on my farm and the scene where they are harvesting wheat was actually shot Northwest of Wahpeton, North Dakota.
