See the goofs, blunders and plain ole mistakes in the 1982 Family
movie starring Carol Burnett, Albert Finney, Ann Reinking
Annie, Oliver, and Grace go to see "Camille" at the RCMH as mentioned earlier. However, the movie is set in 1932 or 1933, and Camille came out in 1936. Oops!
During the song "Let's Go To The Movies", Grace sings about "sweet Shirley Temple", who actually wasn't a star at that time.
At the end, you can see the helicopter fly past the 1982 New York City Skyline, but remember, the movie was set in the early 30s.
When the girls are locked in the closet when rooster etc. are going to get the money for Annie. When the little girl looks up and gets the idea to climb out onto the roof through the vent it is day time but when they move the bookshelf and climb out is is night time.
During the song "Little Girls" Miss Hannigan walks into the bathroom and sits on the edge of the bathtub - in the background you can see Rooster's (Tim Curry) reflection in the bathroom mirror as if waiting for his cue.
