You know, I'm not that fond of child actors...they usually bug the heck out of me....but this little girl just keeps on giving one awesome performance after another. She supprisingly has talent. I think she will be one to keep an eye on in the future because I bet that kid is going to the top! She can act! I predict she will be one of the Hollywood A-list.
Who else likes her?

I only remember one movie I've seen with her in it (Hide and Seek), but I think she was great in it. She acts like a real kid--I'm surprised how many child actors in movies are really bad. Granted, they're kids, but the likes of Dakota Fanning and Fred Savage have proved that kids can act too.

She was in War of the Worlds, Uptown Girls, and I Am Sam with Sean Penn. I haven't seen the last one that I mentioned because I heard it was sad. I really do like her to I cannot believe how good she really is. She was my favorite part of War of the Worlds, hands down.

She is going to be in Charlotte's Web and an movie about a horse called Dreamer. I had read somewhere that they had wanted to cast a boy for the part in Dreamer but changed things around just for her. Pretty awesome that she has that kind of clout at eleven.

Yes she was but I didn't see that one because I don't really care for Denzel, but since she is in it it may be worth a look see!

That little kid is stealing these shows away from the big name stars! It is worth watching Man On Fire just to see her perform.
I watched Hide And Seek and she held her own against an awesome actor like Robert Denero.
I will go see anything that she plays in from now on.
Jessie, I think that horse movie you mentioned has Kurt Russel in it too. I read an article where he was talking about doing a movie with her and he said that out of all the actresses that he's ever worked with he thought she was the best, Meryl Streep included he said. He really had a lot of respect for her.

i loved MAN ON FIRE with dakota fanning. and denzel was good in it too. i have seen almost anything she has been in. i have read online that a slew of ppl cannot stand her for some reason, i don't know why, because she is really a good actress as far as kids go.
but my favorite movie with her has to be MAN ON FIRE, then UPTOWN GIRLS. she was too funny in that one.

I thought she was excellent in I Am Sam. She did ok in War of the Worlds which was overshadowed by the Cruise/Holmes debocale. I also liked her with Denzel in Man on Fire...

She really is incredible. She was excellent in Taken, as the narrator and half alien/half human child. She was the glue that held the entire 20 hour mini series together.

In War of the Worlds, she acted the absolute pants off Tom Cruise!

No doubt a life of drug dependancy and teenage sex scandals awaits this rising star, which would be a shame because I also rate her acting ability...

Noms [Cool]
