There is a Santa movie / made for tv movie on during the 1980s and I can't seem to remember the title. Here is what I remember..

1. Santa went into a house and set off the house alarm
2. A boy popped out of a toy chest and shot santa with a fake dart guy and it stuck to his head
3. I remember lights and sirens as if the police came looking for him.

And that is about it... If anyone has an idea of what movie this could be, I would appreciate it if you would let me know.

Thanks,
Dave

No, not Home Alone. That came out in 1990 and the movie that I am trying to remember came out in the early to mid 80s.

Thanks though.

Sounds like a couple of scenes from "The Toy" with Richard Pryor. He definitely got shot with a toy gun and the rubber dart stuck to his forehead. He also broke into the house and set off some alarms....the police w' sirens soon followed. *When he broke into the house he was wearing red...though not a Santa suit...it was Spiderman PJs. Any foggy chance you're mixin up Spidey and Santa (ha ha).....not likely, I'm sure...but I figured it was worth a shot considering the similarities. Hope someone else can help.....

I think Muffy is right. I found this on IMDb.
Check it out:

Muffy is absolutely correct, how did you remember this?

After reading the synopsis below, more is starting to come back...

It's Christmas Eve 1985 and Santa starts his tour. When he arrives at little Bobby's home, he can't get through the chimney because it has a grille at the top. He manages to get in through the window, but then he goes through a light barrier and trips the burglar alarm.

Also, Netflix has the Amazing Stories and Disc 2 has Santa 85 on it.

Thank everyone for your help.

Dave
