Well, this is really a question.... "What about The Rewind makes you want to visit it so often and what makes you intrigued enough to post?"
I often wonder what is running through everyone's mind while they are here. I personally see this place as a chance to reminisce about the 80s, which I ruled btw, with others that "get" why I love it so much.
But it's way more than all that really. I see this place as like an 80's movie and we are all characters in my mind. I visualize everyone as I post and it's fun thinking how cool we all really are in our own unique way ya know.

That's exactly how I feel too. I think if there was any room left for another reality show (which everyone knows how I feel about those)-that we would make the best one ever.
That people would stayed tuned every week to see what is going on.
Because, everyone that starts posting on here, has stayed for awhile, and even the ones that either don't post anymore, or never posted very much, they eventually pop back up again, out of the blue. And sometimes it is interesting to see a name you hadn't seen in awhile.
Like Deathbystereo80- even though I still talk to her, she popped in not long ago, and posted and was gone again, and I saw Banshee posted again, and there's alot of people that go awhile and don't post and then all of a sudden there they are again.
I really miss RiverPhoenix4Life, I grew to really like her, and I wish she'd come back, and Ali, she was a big poster too.
Everyone who is here at the moment I have to say even if I don't agree with certain view points that I still respect their views and even people who it seems I might not even like, deep down know that I like ya, even if I don't show it as often as I do to others, I still think everyone has a equal contribution to this site, and I think the whole thing is awesome.
What keeps me coming back is the very deep friendships I have formed with everyone, and everyone does come up with cool things and new things to discuss all the time, which keeps everything hopping and poppin.
I like the Goofiness of everyone's humour.
I have to always check in to see how many times Valley can say cool in a thread too, or makes mention to the fact that he was cool at one time, and still is in his own mind.

5. The fact that we all have a special bond that bring us all together that bond would be our LOVE for the 80s decade.

7. Everybody really knows what they are talking about when it comes to 80's Music, Movies, fashion etc.
8. That picture of Isis, Cindy, and Muffy(are'nt they some very attractive women)
9. Everybody's smart and comes up with some great topics and conversation starters

If she did post here then I wish she would chime in now and then. Especially on the Valley Girl stuff.
Boy there is so much to love about this site to even mention here. But let's start with the fact that we all share a love for anything that has to do with the 80s. WOW tripendicular man! Also the fact that everyone gets a long really well with one another and is so supportive of each other.
The fact that we never get tired of talking about the same topics over and over. We welcome newcomers with open arms.
I love the fact that Devo knows a lot of movies that people can only give tidbits of info to. That ISIS is our mom and gives insight into a lot of topics that involve not only movies but regular pop culture, food, and society of the 80s.
Hey I would like to know where this picture of ISIS, Muffy and Cindy is anyway???? Someone help me with that.

I wish ValleyCat! besides Deb is a superstar and she does'nt even know i'm alive. And another thing how would you know if it was D.F. you are talking to. She probably as an staged name and i can't blame her cause you and i know that if everybody was to know that she was currently on the boards everybody would bombard her with VALLEY GIRL guestions. And that may get her a little annoyed. But the fact D.F. has graced her presents on the boards is COOL enough for me. Well, there's not much that can be added that hasn't already been said . . .
I totally agree with what you guys have been saying.
I love the fact that you guys are so accepting of anyone who comes in. Believe me, I've been to boards that've been really rude for posting something completely innocent, even if I knew the people there.
And for some reason unknown to me, my name gets mentioned once every five threads or so. O.o

Spot on, Lupa. During my time on the Rewind, everyone has been so fantastic. Even when I've posted a topic that has been bought up in the past, no one is rude about it, as can happen on other sites.
The greatest thrill for me being a Rewinder is seeing my name mentioned in milestone posts - eg when Isis hit 3000 and she was writing about what other Rewinders bought to the site, I felt honoured to know that I was considered to be a regular.
My appreciation for the 80's has definately grown since joining the Rewind. I first joined just to find the answer to a question, but since then, I've learnt so much about music and movies I was unaware of. It's great too, to learn about life in the 80's through the eyes of people in other countries - different foods, drinks, traditions.... and that is what will always be so cool about this site
