When I watched her in Little Darlings...I thought her face reminded me alot of Britney Spears...you can see alot of similarities to Kristy and Britney.

You don't think they look alike? Plus...their lives are similiar....they had very pushy mothers...who also pushed their siblings in to the spotlight...and then they started to crack under the pressure....their fans over whelmed them.
Kristy McNichol just wanted to live a "normal" life...
I hope she is doing good.

She's maniac depressive too....but it was definately triggered by the constant hounding of the press and not having any privacy, I watched her whole interview on Entertainment Tonight on you tube...
My husband and I were talking about that tonight...about how...if every single move you made was constantly on the front page of the papers...no matter how trivial it was...that would drive you crazy...
We were at the car wash tonight...and I was thinking about what if you were famous...and there were a billion people just standing their with cameras...just waiting for you to come out of the car wash...so they could snap your picture...they wait for every move you make...
I really think that it should be illegal to do that to people...I honestly think that celebities should be entitled to go to dinner and be left alone. I think I would go crazy...crack....develop a mental disorder...all of that stuff...if I was under a microscope constantly.
Just seeing Corey Haim...made me totally think about why anybody would want to be famous....money only gets you stuff...after so much money-you can only buy so much stuff...and that doesn't make you "genuinely" happy....so I have never understood wanting to be famous. The pressure has to be so hard.
I was watching an interview with Karen Carpenter...and was thinking about the stuff that celebrities all go through...and it doesn't seem like alot of fun...when it comes down to it.

In those 2 pics I can see it a little bit. Mainly in the eyes. I do also see a bit of a young Sally Field.

We had pay per view when I was a kid in the 80's....so I saw The Pirate Movie many many...too many times. And ISIS....I do see the similarity.

I think Sally Field looks like Katie Holmes in that picture, not Britney.
The pictures of Britney that I think look like Kristy are all the candid pictures I have seen of her....all the made up pictures...I don't even think they look alike in them.

That made me laugh Motley......I could probably find a resemblance to Sally Field in your own mugshot Motley,haha
Honest....Kristy has such a harsh "tough girl" look to her......almost "tomboy"......not just her character in Little Darlings, but anything she was in
I always got Helen Hunt and Jodi Foster confused with eachother when I was little........who else though they looked alike?
