ELVIRA, Mistress of the Dark Filming Locations:
Elvira wasn't filmed in an actual town. It was done at Universal Studios, Hollywood California. It's the same town that was used in "Back to the Future." The old house that Elvira inherits was the house used in the 60's tv show 'The Munsters'. [Thanks to Christian Greenia]
The town of Fallwell is actually on the Warner Bros. backlot, and is the same set used for "Dukes of Hazzard"'s Downtown Hazzard County. [Thanks to Albert, Mike Justice, and Tom]
It was filmed on a Warner Brothers backlot called "Midwest Street". Scroll down on this page to that section to view pics, You can even see some buildings which were used in "Elvira Mistress of the Dark". [Thanks to John Zolo]
