These scenes were actually shot at a private residence, located in Beverly Hills, S. California. Google Map
The Racetrack was the Los Alamitos race track at 4961 Katella Avenue in Cypress.
As the first movie, the Caltech Athaneaum" at 551 South Hill Avenue in Pasadena was used.
The oil fields used in the movie are on LaCienega Boulevard in Ladera Heights, a few miles south of Beverly Hills. They were also used in "LA Confidential"
Club 385 North is also on LaCienega, just outside of Beverly Hills in West Hollywood, a block north of Beverly Blvd. It is now a Mexican restaurant. [Thanks to Tom]
