Wanna see the real life filming location used for Daddy Warbuck's townhouse in the movie?

These scenes were actually shot at Monmouth University Administration Building, located in West Long Branch, New Jersey. Google Map

Annie was also filmed at locations in Berkshires, Massachusetts, USA.

The black bridge she climbs when she runs away from the people that claim to be her parents is actually in East Newark and it is off of River Rd or also known to us locals as Passaic Ave. :) [Thanks to Michele]

The town of Hope, NJ was the location for Annie (at the beginning of thie film) to walk up to two old gas pumps where a dog was sitting. I believe that one of the antique gas pumps are still there and the other one is missing. Hope is near Blairstown, NJ.

The Diner is still in Blairstown, but just recently went through remodeling and it's quite a bit larger than what was in the movie. It still has the original nostalgic area, but they have a larger seating area now and is very charming. [Thanks to Dean]

The grounds of Oliver Warbucks' mansion and front of the mansion were filmed at Monmouth College (Now Monmouth University) in NJ [Thanks to Laura]

LX Preview

LX is our radical new locations feature that we've been beavering away on.. For years!

Each location will have it's own page with then/now pictures, maps, StreetView, discovery story and the most detailed explanations on how the location was used. Most importantly, the locations will have a status that shows whether they are verified correct and by whom. We are working with the actual locations managers or other crew where possible. The whole thing will be very interactive and you will, of course, be able to update everything.
