At the end of the movie, when E.T. is saying goodbye to Elliott, he brings his hand up to Elliott's face. You can see (in the older version) that the hand is upside-down! But when the shot changes to E.T's face, the hand is rightside-up again (when he says "I'll be right here").

E.T.'s instruction at the end of the movie, "Be good," was to Gertie, not Elliott.



Bogus Blunders

Sometimes an apparent goof is not a real mistake
