i am not sure this movie was from the 90's actualy but every time it is on i still watch it !! in fact i am watching it right now on cable channel 42 right now love this movie very cute and love hootch he is great! i love when he eats the inside of turner's car and has gas in the police station cracks me up every time!! I love Turner and Hooch....I saw it at the movies when it came out.
We talk to our dog like he's Hooch.
I love when Turner is giving him the "Rules"...
and he says...No Biting, No Drooling, No Sniffing of crotchs, You will wear a flea collar... and Hooch just is looking at him like he's seriously thinking it all over.
I like the scene where they paint the walls in the vet's house- I think I like it because I am so much like Turner in that movie, I could never start a project like that, and not finish it...I am obsessive about stuff like that. I would stay up all night, and work on it until it was done.
I can't ever let my house ever be messed up. I am extremely fanatically neat. I don't freak out about it, but things laying around, in piles, or anything that's messy- that makes me crazy.

I'm kind of the same way. Regardless, you can't help loving Hooch. There's so many good moments; I'd say the best comes when he keeps Turner awake all night with his barking, then locks him outside in his underwear when he comes out ("OH YOU STUPID DOG!!!!!"). Nice also to see a film that takes seatbelt safety seriously, and Turner using that to disable the bad guy towards the end.

oh yeah and i like the end of the movie when turner finds the puppy in the closet and tells him the same things he told hootch and the puppy just tilts his head at turner and looks at him like yeah right!! classic movie i love it my chocolate lab harley talks like hootch all the time watches alot of t.v. with us too like he actually knows what is going on? especially the animal planet channel lol

They had considered doing a TV spinoff, but it never got beyond an unaired pilot.
