Okay let's do a Halloween theme. This film is just priceless. Starring Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy as three sisters who are resurrected from their graves and come back to 1993 and try to become immortal. I love the New England scenery. It is one of those films that the cinematography is so real that you feel like the wind is blowing on you when it is blowing in a scene. The cider was tempting that you could almost smell it. I love films that like that. That is what makes a film so memorable to me.

It was directed by Kenny Ortega who has choreographic accomplishments for Dirty Dancing and also for High School Musical. I was disappointed that it never turned out a sequel, even a straight to video would have been nice.

What do you all think of this film? BYW I loved the cat, Binx, black cats are my favorite!!

The cat was pretty well done, probably the best character in the picture. And the chemistry between the witches was quite amusing; love when they drop in on "the devil."

One parallel thought; I have thought the concept might have worked well also as a Ghostbusters film. Face it, some of the scenes we get would be perfect for a Venkman one-liner or an overelaborate Egon explanation on how things look extraordinarily bad.

I though this movie was very good. Another movie that i love is "The Worst Witch". What a great movie. I use to watch it over and over again as a child.

Oh the Worst Witch was really good too. Thanks for the reminder on that one.

So I'm a month behind but I love this movie. Sarah Jessica Parker dancing and singing, "Amok amok amok amok" just kills me.

And who could not love Kathy Najimy?
