I watched it tonight, and had never seen it before.

It started out, to where I thought I wouldn't like it...when that boy gets hurt...they never really tell you how bad he was hurt...but the whole thing was just so senseless...and I was glad the boy got in trouble...but I thought how is taking drama classes a punishment for what he did??

But, then after I got over that part of it-(that is after my friend said shut up and watch the movie), I ended up really liking it alot, my friend loves it, and was bawling.

I thought the song Mandy Moore sang was really pretty...and I never heard it before...and I wondered if it had been released around the time the movie was made, because it wasn't that long ago....and there's no great songs out there...so I couldn't understand why it wasn't a huge hit, cause it was a really pretty song...someone else was singing it at their wedding, I thought I should have recognized it, but didn't...but I did like it alot.

I thought Daryl Hannah looked so old...and she doesn't look good at all with brown hair...she was gorgeous in Splash...it is hard to believe that movie was that long ago.

AWTR is a really beautiful movie. Read the book, better yet read Nicholas Sparks, you'll love his work.

The song "Only Hope" is only on the soundtrack.

BTW, Daryl Hannah wore a wig because she was doing another movie and I think she was either bald or had another hair color for the other movie so she needed a wig.

Another Nicholas Spark novel that is a Motion Picture is The Notebook (beautiful story) and Message in the Bottle (another great story). I just hope they do The Wedding, Nights in Rodanthe, The Rescue and A Bend in the Road.

Daryl Hannah's hair definately did look like wig...I even said that when we were watching it, but they make wigs now that you can't even tell, so I don't know why she didn't get a better one.

I saw The Notebook....I didn't really like it, I liked A Walk to Remember about 50 times better.

A Walk to Remember is a beautiful movie. I didn't think I'd like it either, since I had read the book and the two were different in some ways. However, I wound up loving it and watching it probably a dozen times. I'm glad that the Jamie character was able to "save" the Landen character. The entire soundtrack is wonderful. I had never heard of Switchfoot until then.

Chickflick to the max. [Razz]

Movie was decent, but it went to the sappy extreme....especially the ending.
