It was just on AMC. I wasn't sure if it came out in 1989 or 1990...I looked it up and it was 1990.

I actually love this movie. I love Matthew Modine, and I think him and Melodie Griffith make a cute couple in it. I think Michael Keaton plays a great bad guy in it.

It feels like something that could actually happen to anybody.

I love when Melodie Griffith gets in his hotel room, and pays him back (some what) for all the things that he did to them, and when she charges that party to his room. I liked that she didn't wait around to get help from the police...that she figured out how to get him back on her own.

My son was able to watch it, since it was edited for tv...and now we are thinking about watching Mr. Mom.

Don't you ever sometimes want to watch movies with the same actors in them?? It's like seeing Matthew Modine...made me also want to watch Private School.

uhh... it's actually MELANIE Griffith, not Melodie. yeah, this was an ok film - there was a whole slew of movies like this in the 90's; UNLAWFUL ENTRY, THE HAND THAT ROCKS THE CRADLE, I think it all started with FATAL ATTRACTION a few years earlier.

OOOPs...sorry....I actually thought I wrote it wrong when I was writing it...

I liked all those movies you just listed...that's when I actually had hope that the 90's really were going to be good...cause they started out pretty good...and went down hill each year.

I loved this era of the 90s with all of the romantic thriller drama types. I loved Unlawful Entry, I don't know why but I thought that Ray Liotta was sexy in that one.

As for Pacific Heights I thought that it was good, but why would someone get off destroying someone's home that they didn't even know? I mean maybe if something had happened to him as a child by Matthew or Melanie's character then it would kind of make sense. I guess it is just because there are tons of crazies out there. I love the San Francisco area. You can always tell when a film has been filmed there by the types of houses and streets that are shown. I would love to live in a house like that someday.
