This is a great movie - the plot works, there's loads of quirky characters, and the script has some great lines. It could be an 80s movie by the feel!

Any takers?

No - it's an american movie, and for me has a good 80s flavor. I'm sure that some of the others on this site have seen it - it's from around 1997 or so. Take a look at the IMDB Page for it - and if you get the chance, rent it. I'm sure you'll love it.

Wow. Never seen it but I went on imdb and read the reviews. It seems that people who did see it RAVED. ("THE BREAKFAST CLUB for the '90s Generation" one person trumpeted.
I went on www.half.com and ordered a vhs of it. It cost me 99 cents!

Whoooo Mama. You're in for one heck of a good time with that one. When it arrives and you've watched it, please post here what you thought. It's one of those hidden little gems that really deserved a wider showing.

And 99 cents?! Bargain!

I've seen 8 days a week and thought it was a blast, really good fun!

Just looked at picking up a DVD copy and it sadly goes for silly money.

Maybe it will get reissued at some point again on DVD or blu ray.

Almost forgot about this one. Saw it a few times when it was shown on cable. I remember it being pretty good. At least the first couple times I watched it. Might have to give it a watch again.
