This is more aimed at present day, but it can apply to the 90's.

Well, I'm not a big fan of Lindsay Lohan, so once I heard she was singing, I had to find out how bad it was for myself. I saw the music video, and it was pretty much what I expected.

So here are some signs that you've got a bad song on your hands:

1) Your voice is synthesized to within an inch of its life--Not for style, but every time a note leaves your lips.

2) Your music video features you being chased by the paparazzi (can't spell) as you play the poor martyr to fame, usually as you leave a car and desperately try to get away as they scream your name like lunatics.

3) Your song title is spelled out with computer lingo of any sort and/or not capitalized, such as "i can luv u more" or "u abandoned me."

4) Your music video features you very damp and sweaty, but is not in context with the song.

5) You wear coordinated outfits with all of your band members.

So, any of you guys have signs you've picked up?

In all honesty, I posted this because I got tired of the paparazzi thing. I can see where they can be a nuisance, but please. I think it's a bit dramatic to have the girl leaving the car and people screaming her name trying to tear her clothes off as her agent swats them away. There might've been cases where that's happened, I'm sure, but I'm not buying into it.

If the lyrics of the first 16 bars consist of nothing but "mmmmm", "oh baby", "uhuh" and "give it to me".

Ha! Or better yet, if that's the whole song. [Smile]
