Great, often overlooked, film about filmamking by independant fav Tom Dicillo. Starring an excellently manic Steve Buscemi as a indie film director under pressure, this is a wry look at the unglamourous flip side of films told though a clever series of dreams and recurring points.

There's also a fine supporting cast which includeds Dicillo regular Catherine Keener and Dermot Mulrooney as a pretentious eye-patch wearing DP. And though Dicillo went onto make better known films like 'The Real Blonde' and 'Double Whammy' this is still, in my opinion, his best work.

A film about filmmaking strictly for the for film buffs among us.

I have not seen or even heard of this one. I will, therefore, put it on my radar when scoping out certain independent film resources...thanks for the info.

Seeing as yet another mention has been made 'on the other side' as to the shrinking nature of the '90s board, we need to keep these dialogues going, if only to say a big 'NAY' to all those pesky nay-sayers.

welcome Hipstermom, in the words of Vincenet Vega: "you'd dig it the most".

Yes, the dialogues will continue, even if I'm talking to myself [Wink]
