Yeah, another educational 70s Linda Blair flick!
This tv-movie was directed by Richard Donner.

Blair is Sarah Travis and she sure likes booze.
Awesome performance again from Linda.

Great to see Larry Hagman and Mark Hamill too.
The other stars are Verna Bloom, William Daniels and Michael Lerner.

Ok, that was new to me LoverswithCassie.

I liked the way she ordered the bottles from a liquor store and
when they arrived she told that her mother is in the shower so
she could buy and take the bottles for herself.

I didnīt know that you could order alcohol home in the 70s..?
Or was this just made up?

Where on Earth did you FIND it?????
I had to do trading for someone to make me a copy of their crappy copy!
I am actually dubbing my crappy VHS onto a DVD today. The quality is horrible but beggars cant be choosers!
Is this on VHS? DVD?????

Well, i had to dig deep,
but i finally found the old finnish vhs tape.
(you can see the cover)

Iīm glad that it was in good condition.

iīm really surprised myself that they have released
so much stuff here in the 80s and early 90s.

I watched part of it while I dubbed today (my husband came home for lunch so I missed the second half) and watching it reminded me of something I had heard about WHY this movie isnt readily available on VHS or DVD - something about the music rights? There are scenes where Linda Blair sings a Carole King song and then there are party scenes with instrumentals of different elton John songs and an Olivia Newton John song. (maybe even some other 70s music too).
I think I heard somewhere that thats why the movie isnt released on DVD (and Ive even heard some people claim that when they saw the movie certain music was cut. ) Dont know how true it is, but thats what Ive heard.

I think that youīre right.

I didnīt observe that during the flick because i donīt know 70s pop music that well,
but thatīs a good point.
