I have tried to figure this out for years, and don't have much to go on. For some reason the other day I thought about it again, and thought that it might be called The Princess and the Pea. But, I couldn't find anything about it. I swear it was a movie that played in the afternoons alot in the 70's, on Saturday afternoons. I know there was a Princess of some sort in the movie, and there was some kind of magical pea or something that granted wishes...I remember there being a forest, and a guy with a bow and arrow. I remember she had 3 wishes. I can't even remember what her wishes were.
I don't know if I'll ever find it, or is that is enough info to go on, but I thought I'd give it a shot.

Might be a foreign version of a fairytale, they were very common on TV in the 70's and 80's. Maybe one of these:

IMDB Three Wishes For Cinderella

IMDB The Princess and the Pea

Wow...that's weird....The Three Wishes for Cinderella...sounds just like it, that's what it was...she was a sharpshooter...cause I remembered that part after reading it, and they were magic nuts...not peas, and there was a mean step family in it...and the picture jogged my memory...that must be it....I am going to have to look for it...would it have been in English??...it would have had to have been for me to understand it as a kid. Oh cool.....I am going to try finding it. Thanks Logan....I am always in awe by how many mysteries you solve on here for people, it is amazing. Thank you.

I found it on Ebay, did a Buy it Now...I know it is the movie...I remember her dressing up like a huntsman too....plus I would have been 5 years old when it came out, and that's why my memory is vague....but I remember playing a game that me and my neighbor made up over this movie, and I know how old I was when she was my friend...so I can't wait to watch it.

You might be out of luck with the language. It almost certainly would've been dubbed when they showed it originally, but I've got a sneaking suspicion the DVD's will have the language from the country of origin. You might have to prepare yourself for subtitles!

I did see it said subtitles....but I didn't know which language they meant. Ha. I'll try watching it anyway.

Thanks again!
