Anyone else enjoy this series of movies? Born Losers and Billy Jack were my favorites. I was showing clips of Billy Jack to some friends at work last night and they thought it was hillarious. I was joking around with them about how in every sequel he got fatter and fatter. If you take an image of him from the first one and one from the last one and morphed them he would look like he was transforming into the Hulk.

Billy Jack is one of my all time favorites. Very dated, very cheesy, very badly acted, very badly directed, very badly produced, very very entertaining. I proudly own this movie on VHS. Never watched the movies back to back to notice the getting fat thing though.

I remember Billy Jack being big stuff in the '70s, but not for a young teenaged girl who camped out at discos.

Wasn't the song 'One Tin Soldier' from this movie?

Whatever happened to Tom Laughlin?

My brother took me to see "Billy Jack" when I was a kid. I love it. The song "One Tin Soldier" brought a tear to my eye. But I watched it a few years ago as an adult and it just wasn't the same, but cool memories as a kid anyway.

Hey HipsterMom...I was flipping channels a few years back and saw Tom Laughlin on C-SPAN. He's a senator or representative or something like that. He had put on quite a few pounds. I don't know if that's what he's still doing.

BB, that's right...I remember seeing that. He was married to the woman who played Billy's squeeze, Dolores something. [That always makes me think of Seinfeld]
