I need help in locating a FACTORY SEALED copy of the 1978 Roger Corman movie Piranha starring Bradford Dillman and Heather Menzies. I'm a movie collector and am seeking a factory sealed copy of the Piranha DVD with the ORIGINAL, OUT OF PRINT cover art that was released when the DVD was first issued in 1999 by New Concorde/New Horizons Home Video. The edition I'm talking about has a MAROON BANNER RUNNING ACROSS THE TOP OF THE FRONT DVD COVER. I've tried EVERYWHERE to obtain a factory sealed copy of the maroon-bannered Piranha DVD--ebay, amazon.com, half.com, internet stores, yahoo auctions, video stores of every kind, google searches, you name it, and no luck. I've even called New Horizons Home Video direct and spoke to the executive assisstant to Roger Corman himself, the man who produced the movie, and I was told they had no copies of the maroon-bannered edition anymore; they had all been destroyed and replaced by the edition with the new cover art. A factory sealed copy of the maroon-bannered Piranha DVD cannot be found. If ANYONE out there has any idea whatsoever how I can locate a copy of this treasure--a factory sealed copy of the Piranha DVD with the maroon banner running across the top of the front DVD cover--please let me know or email me at jeffersonparke@aol.com.
