Please throw in anything that makes an 80's movie typical.

I will start:

The good guy starts going out with the bad guys sister.

There's of course no such thing as a good Russian/Arab/Japanese

Motor madness is often a prerequisite, sometimes starting for no seemingly good reason, but unless the hero's named Indiana Jones, he'll survive it absolutely unharmed

The Masked killer can be in 2 different places at once (via his own teleport machine) and he can also walk faster than the - road runner. Beep! Beep!

In fact rumour has it jason vorhees can walk the 1 minute mile!

Jason was very slow stalker type in the first few films but became this fast walking magician in part 6.
I sure would like to know his training program [Big Grin]

I think it was a similar training program to Roger Bannister [Razz]

The ``Getting Ready To Go Out`` scenes. A peppy song playing in the background...showers, hair, make-up, outfits...then the slow walk down the stairs for the reveal!! Didn`t realize it til I wrote down...there`s a scene like this in every single 80`s movie!!! How much time have we spent watching people getting ready to go out for a night on the town...hours I tell ya!! [Smile]

Yeah! The "getting ready.." scenes are one of the reasons i love 80s films, iŽll never get tired of those [Smile]

That reminds me of when the guy is looking in the mirror rehearsing how he is going to ask a girl out or his game plan on how to score.

The good guy has to have a showdown with the bad guy at the end of the movie either in a fight or a sports competition. This usually results in the good guy winning the bad guy's respect.

Sheeesh, how many movies can you list off like this?
