Just watched this Andy Sidaris action "classic".
It´s basically a sequel to Malibu Express but with different cast.
Ronn Moss´ character was Cody Abilene´s (the hero from the first movie) cousin Rowdy Abilene
and he uses the same Malibu Express boat.
And just like Cody, he´s a lousy shooter.

The plot is non-important because all we want to see is cheesy action and topless women.
And there´s plenty of both on offer [Big Grin]

Dona Speir, the Playmate of the Month in the March, 1984
and Hope Marie Carlton, the Playmate of the Month in the July, 1985
are the female leads.

Dona and Hope Marie looking good!
 -

The other girls are Cynthia Brimhall (Playmate of the Month, October, 1985)
and Lory Green.

Ronn, you must find a better place to hide when you´re facing a villain with a machine gun...
 -

Skateboarding, sumo-wrestling, karate, big explosions, contaminated killer snake,
frisbee with razor blades, nice Hawaii locations and two cool tunes on the soundtrack.
Highly entertaining, only in the 80s material!

The final battle was pretty gory stuff which was a real surprise for me.

Get it, watch it, love it [Cool]

Any Sidaris movie rocks ! [Big Grin]

I also have a book about his films, called Bullets, Bombs and Babes, which is kinda light on
actual information, but does have lots and lots of stills, on-set pics and promotional artwork
from all over the world.
Apparently they had lots of fun while making these movies.

Unfortunately Andy Sidaris died of throat-cancer some years ago, aged 76.

By the way, very cool pic of the girls !

Cool thread. No one really talks about the films of Andy and Arlene Sidaris, but they are synonymous with 80's cable TV--and, in DEVO's case, manhood. [Wink] I believe Andy started out as a TV cameraman, and later director, for National Football League games. He is one of those guys about whom I've always wondered what would have happened if he'd have been give a studio action picture to direct, something on the order of the stuff John McTiernan or Renny Harlin was doing around that time. I think Sidaris would have done a fine job and could have been one of those guys. But alas, it was not meant to be...

Andy Sidaris sure did love his silicone enhanced girls with guns!!! ....and they surely weren't shy about stripping their clothes off at every opportunity!!
