Yeah and who can forget him as the grandfather in The Princess Bride? I was just reading the review of that movie on the site here. Unbelievable. Is there a cause of death? I'll see if there's a story on this on celebrity death beeper. I'm a huge Columbo fan as well.

Okay, here's what I was able to find:

http://deathbeeper.com/8937801.html

And the site I used to visit and post on, The Ultimate Columbo Site already has a thread on this with currently 35 replies.

I didn't watch Columbo either, but still a familiar face from my childhood, which is always sad to see. I really liked his voice...surprised he didn't do voice over work for animation flicks. RIP....

We keep losing the good ones from the old school. You are right Ronnie...he was almost never better than in Murder By Death. He was absolutely priceless in an already brilliant movie.

Yeah that was funny, but I highly recommend Roommates. A great, heartwarming story about family and fighting to keep family members together and going the extra mile. Although, since Falk's character dies in the end of old age, might be a little soon to watch now, so wait a while, then watch.

Falk stars in it with D.B. Sweeney. Falk plays Sweeney's grandfather who raises Sweeney from childhood after his parents' death, so it's about their whole changing relationship over the years, especially when Sweeney becomes a doctor, gets married and has children of his own.
