Thought it'd be fun to compile a list of 80's movies in which an animal played a prominant role. I'll start with a few:

Turner and Hooch
K9
Jaws 3

Any others? Maybe just list a max of three so more people have a chance to give input....toward the end (when responses slow down)...chime in again!

"Well it seems like this big lug is in love and he's got a lot of major appliances lyin' around."

"Debbie, he's gonna hurt you. He'd never be true to you the way I would."

"Cole Whittier ladies and gentleman, a funny funny guy as well as being a wonderfully talented human being. Take care babe, we love ya."

Ooooohhhh.....love Alligator.....good one.

I echo that on "Alligator," written by John Sayles and directed by Lewis Teague. What a cool little movie!

Slugs: The Movie
Cat's Eye
White Dog
Deadly Eyes - killer rats movie, based on the novel The Rats by James Herbert
Great White
Creepshow - the "They're Creeping Up on You" segment in particular
Island Claws - obscure made-in-Florida movie about killer crabs
The Nest - killer cockroaches

Funny how so many movies that have animals playing major roles usually turn out to be in the horror genre, isn't it? Plenty of good ones have already been mentioned, although I think the major titles have already been hit on.

Nice one Lovers w/Cassie on Razorback.
Would the snakes in Raiders of the Lost Ark be prominant enough?

Dinky from Vacation would have if Clark hadnt tied him to the bumper.

Every which way but loose.
The dog in The Thing with K. Russell.
