Im new to the board, so not sure if this is the appropriate area for this topic, but here goes:
Charlie Sheen's recent antics have stirred some memories, so here goes.
While attending the University of Arizona, the Wraith with Charlie Sheen was filming in town. I was dating a girl at the time who lived across the street from a park near the UofA. The neighborhood was given some tax breaks, because of the fact that it was frequently used for filming locations. Apparently, Revenge of the Nerds, and others were filmed here. Anyway, The park was used for the Graveyard scene in the Wraith, and the street was used for short shots of the races, and quite a few other scenes were filmed there. I can't remember the exact street or house address, but there it is. If anyone has any more info, I'd love to hear it.,
PS- WHile filming was going on, we got to meet Charlie and a few others from the film. He was very personable, gracious, and enjoyable. In fact, one evening, craft services never showed up, and charlie bough dinner for everyone (including us) from a local sub shop.

Thanks for letting me post

Charlie Sheen pre-Platoon was completely different that what we have been seeing recently. He openly admits this in past interviews. Hopefully he gets help with whatever he's going through and comes out winning.

"Are you bi-polar?"
"I'm bi-winning. Win here, win there, win win everywhere."

Why was he different pre-Platoon? What changed - success?

Pre-Platoon he had a thing for hookers. I believe at age 11 or 12 he stole his dad credit card and tried to purchase an escort. During the making of Platoon he was introduced to hard drugs and the rest is history.

He had a thing for hookers post-platoon also. Remember he was on Heidi Fleiss's clientel list.

At 11, what a legend.

I wanna be a Warlock! Largely because it sounds cool.

You can't be a legend unless you've been with the head cheerleader. Then again... he was with the head cheerleader in Lucas!

Logan 5, perhaps the escort that he may have gotten was a cheerleader.

Did you want to be Starship Captain Warlock?

Just a Warlock. Nothing more.
