Ok, I posted this in the 70's section but the thought not as many people would see it:

I remember watching a movie when I was a kid, so this would have been late 80's to early nineties when I saw this on TV.

From what I can remember it looked like a 70's movie but I guess could have been early 80's.

I thought the name of this movie was called LOST but I honestly can't remember.

What I can remember:

There are two couples probably like 40 I think and they are on a boat. Probably owned by one of the couples.

They somehow get lost at sea. Very lost I think. Things get very bleak.

I remember that one of the guys wives or girlfriends dies and they wrap her up in something, maybe like a white/beige sheet/sail and bury her at sea.

If anyone can remember what this is called it would be highly appreciated.

I would also give them a virtual hug [Wink]

There is a movie called Lost! from 1986 that has a similar theme, but there are notable differences as well.

IMDB link here.

Another TV movie, Adrift, sounds closer, although it was made in 1993.

Link here.

It could be Lost! I mean that is what I thought the movie may have been called.

I was looking at that myself and I am pretty sure I saw the movie I was thinking of before 93.

It kinda sucks that the only way to know is by watching it. I can't find any footage of it though even on youtube.

I hope that is the one, been wanting to watch it for years.

I appreciate your efforts. Thank you very much.

I definitely think that it has promise to be the movie I am thinking of. Gonna do some further investigating.
