Worth Winning stars Mark Harmon, Madeleine Stowe and Leslie Ann Warren.

I watched this one so much on HBO back in the 90's. Maybe i've always had a soft spot for Harmon. But this one has it's funny moments....Harmon plays Taylor a self obsessed weather man who has no trouble with the ladies and makes a bet with a friend he can get 3 wedding proposals from 3 difficult woman.

Warren and her mousy (sex kitten) ways ha! Stowe is great, confident, stubborn but ultimately breaking down for love haha.

any opinions? [Smile]

Muffy..

Mark Harmon always has a charm about him .. even when his character doesn't deserve our attention at times. My fav role of Harmon is definitely "Summer School" though.

I too always like Madeleine Stowe and she is actually the star of "Worth Winning" for me. My fav flicks by Stowe are "Unlawful Entry" and "12 Monkeys"..

I haven't seen Worth Winning, but I agree on what you said about Mark Harmon.
Also agree on mr. Shoop being my favourite role by him.

It's hard for me to watch him on Navy NCIS, where he seems to have lost his abilty to smile.

I wondered if he was still married to Pam Dawber and he has been since 1987!! now there's a hollywood marriage that has lasted. I always loved My Sister Sam. They've been married since Summer School came out.

Love this movie and own it on dvd. I also watched it religiously when it was on cable tv in the 90's.

I watched this movie for the first time recently, and I enjoyed it. The 4 main actresses, the three female targets and his buddy's wife, are all great and really help the movie along. You just knew though, that it was all gonna get twisted up and Harmon was gonna get it for what he was up to...and he did [Smile]

Hmmm, I remember seeing this in the early 90's, but I can't remember hardly anything about it. will have to check it out again. The amount of ideas that my tapped out brain gets for new/forgotten movies from this site is fantastic.

Funny this movie comes up...I just checked it out on IMDB yesterday. I put it on a list of movies to watch in the very near future. I used to have this on VHS but idk what happened to it. Maybe my sis took it! I really liked this movie.... The story line. But I thought the ending should have gone differently.

i've been wanting watch this one for ages but the only place i've found it is amazon uk and they want £50 pounds for a used copy, think i'll have to wait a bit longer!
