I'm going!!!! plus 5 of my friends so far.......it's only 3-4 hours from me so I have no excuse.

I only found out about it this week.......it's been the works awhile I guess. June 4th-7th.

Hopefully some of the cast will show. Either way should be a fun celebration with lots of Goonies fans!

check the Astoria, Oregon homepage for details.........Will I see any of you there?

Cast members that will be attending include:

money is no problem but getting the time off work is. Are you going Logan??

I didn't have anyone to go with, and money is tight. I want to.

That would be absolutely brilliant and you will have to tell us how it was Muffy and post pics of the sites!

I wanted to go to the Jaws festival at Martha's Vineyard, but found out about it several years after it happened!

I am just going to have to organize some good Chicago based Anniversary Events...let's see...The Blues Brothers, Adventures in Babysitting, Just about any John Hughes movie! [Razz]

A 'Hughesfest' would be a great idea. I'm surprised nobody's done it yet!

OMG, that is so cool. I would love to go, but just like oneeyedwilly and logan I will not get enough time off work, as well monitary restraints. also with this ash cloud problem in the UK at the moment, we are stuck:-(

The ash cloud will be gone by June. Time really isn't an issue for me.

Sounds great...wish I could go but if I spend the savings on going instead of a new bathroom suite, I think my wife would ask for a divorce when I got home...Ha Ha. [Smile]

Still...very tempting.
