OK I have been on this kick lately after watching the Baa Baa Black Sheep series and watching The Great Raid. Do you guys have any good movie suggestions on WWII Pacific war movies? I Prefer 80's and above but ANY year will do. Any genre comedy, action, drama etc, etc.
I also heard HBO is putting out a show about the Pacific War anyone know when it will be out?

Have you seen the Band of Brothers series that was made for HBO? That is the first Tom Hanks produced WWII series. He is also producing the next one for HBO. I am not a huge fan of war movies per se, but I thought Band of Brothers was excellent.

Release date for The Pacific (from imdb) is March 14 on HBO. It is a 10 part series.
