Haha, i bet nobody believed that anyone would give a thread to a movie like Night Patrol
This movie really is so bad that it´s good. Everything in this flick is so OTT. I´m sure that a regular movie watcher will press the stop button right after the opening scene.
Directed by Jackie Kong (she did also a movie called Blood Diner in 1987 which i would love to see again)
Starring Murray Langston, Linda Blair, Pat Paulsen and Billy Barty. Pat Morita and Andrew Dice Clay also appear.
You also gotta love the theme song LAPD, it really sticks in your head. Anyone seen the Unknown Comic on stage lately??

I just got this one DVD last year! You are right about the opening scene. Still have yet to watch it in it's entirety.
