Forbidden World (aka Mutant) is a fantastic sci-fi horror flick directed by Allan Holzman (Out of Control)
Jim Wynorski wrote the story with R.J. Robertson and Tim Curnen did the screenplay.

I saw this once in the 80s and boy was i scared [Big Grin] [Big Grin]
Just bought the vhs tape and watched it again after all this time.

Starring Jesse Vint, Linden Chiles and Fox Harris
with two lovely ladies Dawn Dunlap and June "Lydia from V" Chadwick.

This movie includes lots of gore, nudity, space action, a funny robot,
cheesy monster and a nice score by Susan Justin.

The rumor is that Shout! Factory is going to release Forbidden World dvd during 2010.
So check it out when it´s released!

"Forbidden World!" I have heard all about that one! I would watch it if I had the chance.

I have seen "Galaxy of Terror," to which "Forbidden World" is a sequel, and I would like to view it again.

It is most famous (or infamous) for its worm rape scene involving Taaffe O'Connell.

Have you ever viewed "Galaxy of Terror," aTomiK?

OK. So, Freddy Krueger, Joanie from Happy Days and My Favorite Martian walk into a bar. I’m pretty sure it must have happened during the filming of "Galaxy of Terror", an awesome little movie made inexplicably entertaining by b-movie legend Roger Corman and a very young James Cameron. If you don't take this flick too seriously and just enjoy the ride, it is actually quite entertaining.

I remember it being a truly terrible film. Cormans name never was a guarantee of quality, though! At least it gave Cameron his start.

Galaxy of Terror was great! I love gnarly B-movies like this one. Outer space horror flix are usually entertaining.

I love Forbidden World! I just rented it from Netflix about a week ago and enjoyed it. I'm definitely going to get a copy for my collection real soon.

I haven't seen Galaxy of Terror yet, but judging from the trailer and thoughts posted by others, it looks like a good flick. It's currently on my Netflix queue.

Zach, both are available (not "save for later"? I don't remember seeing either one, but usually upon watching, I do remember most 80's movies. They both sound pretty good!

I like them both. They are short, energetic, and sleazy. What more could you ask for?

When you put it like that... nothing!
